Here you can get access to your eCompanion(s) and find technical support throughout the academic term.
eCompanions (or web enhancements) are online supplements to your face-to-face courses. Through the functionality of online tools provided by eCompanion, your instructor may disseminate and collect assignments; post lectures and supplemental materials like PowerPoint files, journal articles, spreadsheets, etc.; post grades and give feedback; display video clips, audio files, animations and simulations; use the state-of-the-art synchronous communication tools, such as Elluminate; facilitate asynchronous discussions with the threaded dicsussion tools and much more.
eCompanions use the eCollege course management system--the primary course management system at EMU and same system that all of EMU's online courses utilize due to its robust features and superior reliability.

Obtaining technical support is easy. Follow this step-by-step process to resolve any technical issues that may arise:
- Click the "Knowledge Base" link on the left side of the screen to see if your question is listed along with a solution.
- Use one of the "Live Help " buttons, located at the bottom of each page on this site, to be connect to a live eLearning Technical Support Specialist.
- Call 734-487-0307 to speak with a eLearning Technical Support Specialist via phone.
- Send an email to ecompanion@emich.edu or use the contact form located in the "Contact Information" link. Most often, email inquires are resolved and responded to within one business day during the business week.
